How Popping Works

1

Instructor Creates a Course

Each course gets its own space with a unique login page. Instructors set up teams and add students (via manual entry or CSV upload).

2

Students Join & Pick Teams

Students log in with their ID and PIN, then choose a team. Instructors control how many teams are available and how many members per team.

3

Discussion Phase

All of the week's questions are visible at once. Students discuss them within their teams and give thumbs-up to significant contributors.

4

Competition Phase

Teams present one at a time. The instructor selects a team and a question from the bank, starts a live timer, and the presenting team's name is broadcast to all students.

5

Presentation Rating

While a team presents, non-presenting students rate whether the answer was well-developed and easy to follow. Ratings are collected in real time.

6

Export & Finish

At the end of class, the instructor downloads a ZIP with team assignments, login times, teammate thumbs, presentation ratings, and question files.
